This Privacy Policy explains how PartyMath handles information when you use our website, free calculators, and PartyMath Complete.
Information you enter into PartyMath
PartyMath may process information you enter into a calculator, such as guest counts, menu choices, event type, prices, and planning preferences. Calculator state and purchase-entitlement information may be stored in your browser using local storage so the site can remember your plan and unlocked features.
Payments
Paid upgrades are processed by Stripe. PartyMath does not receive or store your full payment-card number. Stripe may collect payment, billing, device, and fraud-prevention information under its own privacy terms.
Hosting and technical data
PartyMath is hosted using Netlify. Like most web-hosting providers, Netlify may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request logs, and security data necessary to deliver and protect the site.
Contact information
If you submit a support request through our contact form, we may receive the information you provide, including your name, email address, and message. We use that information to respond to you and provide support.
How we use information
- Provide and operate PartyMath and PartyMath Complete.
- Verify purchases and unlock paid features.
- Remember calculator state and preferences on your device.
- Respond to support requests.
- Protect the service against fraud, abuse, and technical problems.
- Maintain records reasonably necessary for accounting, legal, and business purposes.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us operate PartyMath, including Stripe for payments and Netlify for hosting. We do not sell payment-card information. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, or investigate fraud or abuse.
Retention and your choices
Browser-stored calculator and entitlement data remains on your device until it is cleared or replaced. Payment records may be retained by Stripe and by us as reasonably necessary for support, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. You can clear local browser data through your browser settings, but doing so may remove the locally remembered PartyMath Complete unlock.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights regarding personal information, such as asking to access, correct, or delete certain information. You can submit a request through our Contact page. We may need to verify your request before responding.
Children
PartyMath is intended for general event planning and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as PartyMath grows. The effective date at the top of this page indicates the current version.
